NJIT Health Services by CityMD Urgent Care, located on the first floor of Maple Hall, offers efficient and high-quality health care for all NJIT students, faculty and staff.

Fall / Winter 2024/2025 Holiday Hours:
CityMD Urgent Care will operate on the following schedule for the upcoming holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, 11/28/24): Closed
- Christmas Eve (Tuesday, 12/24/24): Closed
- Christmas Day (Wednesday, 12/25/24): Closed
- Thursday, 12/26/24: Open 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Monday, 12/30/24: Open 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, 12/31/24): Open 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- New Year’s Day (Wednesday, 1/1/25): Closed
- Thursday 1/2/25: Open 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday 1/20/25): Closed
NJIT students, faculty, and staff can access CityMD's telehealth services for convenient care when the campus Urgent Care Center is closed. Additionally, members of the NJIT community may also visit the CityMD Urgent Care at 617 Broad Street, Newark.

- Monday through Thursday 8am - 5pm
What to Bring to Your Visit:
- NJIT Identification card
- Insurance Identification card
- Co-pay fee - We recommend that you call the member services number on the back of your insurance card to ask about coverage and copayment fees for urgent care visits.
In addition to the Student and employee health insurance plans offered by NJIT, CityMD accepts most major health insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Oxford, United Healthcare and many more. Please visit this page to view a full list of insurance plans accepted in New Jersey.
